'Partner-owned' means our most important resources--People--drive the innovation, growth, and success that make H-E-B The Greatest Omnichannel Retailing Company.Do you have a:HEART FOR PEOPLE... ability to develop and maintain productive supplier relationships?HEAD FOR BUSINESS... skills to make business-growing recommendations based on analysis?PASSION FOR RESULTS... drive to identify patterns / trends and proactively seek quick solutions to potential issues?We are looking for:- a related degree or comparable experience in supply chain, inventory management, or related H-E-B areaWhat is the work?Analytics / Inventory Management:- Conducts analysis to identify opportunities to improve inventory and service level for assigned commodity- Analyzes trends; appropriately recommends Store-level unit allocations for current and future allocations- Runs / prepares ad hoc reports in Excel and Business Intelligence to support job functions- Oversees end-to-end inventory of assigned commodities through item lifecycle; resolves issues; communicates delays- Orders inventory into H-E-B warehouses from import and domestic vendors; ensures balanced transportation / warehousing costs, including seasonal and promotional product- Configures replenishment tools as appropriate to achieve inventory and service level objectives- Tracks / traces inventory to the Store shelf; ensures necessary inventory is in the Store and inventory pipeline is available to support Store-level needs- Allocates product to Stores to maximize sales potential and inventory productivity in line with Business Planner strategy- Develops / maintains productive relationships and communications with H-E-B suppliers and vendors- Participates in process improvement projectsWhat is your background?- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience- 3 years of related experience in supply chain, inventory management, or in a related area with H-E-B- Experience in project managementDo you have what it takes to be a fit as an Inventory Analyst for H-E-B GM?- Comprehensive working knowledge of retail operations and ordering systems and tools- Advanced Excel skills- Strong analytical and task management skills- Strong verbal / written communication and presentation skills- Strong negotiating and influencing skills- Strong PC skills, including MS Office, software / systems required by the job (e.g., BI, demand / replen programs)- Critical thinking skills- Ability to work in a team environment- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects tasks; attention to detail- Ability to manage projectsCan you...- Function in a fast-paced retail and office environment- Travel locally- Work extended hours; work rotating schedules; sit for extended periods- Regularly lift 20 lbs or more10-2022
