H&F was started in 2008 to fill a niche, supplying Great Bread to restaurants who wanted “To enhance the dining experience with artisan baked goods of the highest quality and consistency with a focus on food safety and compliance”. Today that is our Mission Statement. Starting with a single baker and three assistants in 2008 operating in an 1,800-square foot facility, we have expanded our Atlanta HF 1 location into a staff of more than 150 Employees with three Head Bakers and four Baking Managers operating twenty-four hours a day seven day a week in a 50,000-square foot facility.
Our new HF 2 location located in Marietta features state of the art equipment for the exclusive use for the production of Gluten and Allergen free products.

Overview:
This position will be responsible for several tasks in our bakery production environment including: weighing raw ingredients in several forms of weights and measurements, loading and operating mixer, and mixing in several mixing methods as well as data collection in a timely fashion while adhering to food safety and quality procedures. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary based on client requirements and business needs. Schedules fluctuate based on client requirements and business needs.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Pastry background
• 6 months- 2+ years of experience in a within a food company (or related job experience)
• Able to lift 50+ lb boxes frequently
• Strong analytical and problem- solving skills with proven ability to organize tasks by priority
• Proficient knowledge of mixing methods
• Proficient with weights and measurements
• Proficient Math skills in regards to ratios, percentages, unit of measure conversion required
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Teamwork-oriented, dedicated to support the team
• Ability to work within a collaborative and ambiguous environment
• Demonstrated time-management and multi-tasking skills
• Comfort with communicating with internal partners at all levels and as well as an external audience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of management.
• Support execution of recipes within lead time.
• Provide support to the QA/QC in project research, data collection, and reporting.
• Make observations and provide feedback relative to production at all stages.
• Willing to work at any level of project execution ranging from planning to clean-up and everything in between.
• Must be aware of all stages of recipe and production execution, and have time management skills.
• Must be able to time mixes with production so that the flow of raw ingredients to depositing to baking to packing never stops.
• Be flexible, and have a go with the flow attitude as needs and challenges arise
• Other duties as assigned
