Responsibilities:                                                                                                                      

  • Responsible for management of project budgets, determining scope of work, estimating fees, and preparing proposals and contracts on projects.
  • Supervises the work efforts of support staff and assigned sub consultants.
  • Ensure efficient and productive utilization of staff in providing high-quality service
  • Lead and/or assist in proposal, scope of work, and fee schedule preparation
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope
  • Coordinate work for team members to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Assists with communication efforts with clients and sub-consultants                                                                                    
  • Engages in business development activities and client relations contacts                                                                      
  • Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines and sub-consultants, Department, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work

 

Requirements:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

  • BA or BS Degree
  • Minimum of 6 years of Transportation ROW experience.
  • IRWA Membership is a plus
  • Must be able to meet TNTC ROW Project Manager qualifications
  • Possess a valid driver's license, some travel will be required
  • Advanced knowledge of project management, marketing, and team building principles
  • Managerial and Project Management experience
  • Business and client development experience
  • Advanced level of technical writing and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with client-specific applications such as KROWDS
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills

Work Environment:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, stoop, crawl, and lifting.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move light equipment up to 20 pounds.  Must be alert to equipment in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
