Job Summary Description: 

Mark Vend Company is looking for an experienced, organized, efficient and detail-oriented person to join the Mark Vend team.  This person will work in the accounting department closely with customer service, operations and company executives. The position will focus on both executing daily accounting activities in addition to analysis work and oversight of specific accounting functions and activities. 

Job Responsibilities:  

Invoicing & Customer Accounting

• Review invoices to for accuracy & completeness
• Review, issue and analyze unique circumstance customer contracts & invoice procedures
• Reconcile invoices, customer payment, accounts receivable; resolve discrepancies
• Maintain and reconcile customer accounts receivable, credits and payment processing
• Ensure customer accounts are set up correctly and according to their requirements
• Maintain, review and process customer commissions according to terms of contracts
• Analyze all billing procedures and identify opportunities for improvement
• Verify with other departments that orders have been fulfilled
• Monitor and review electronic payment processing
• Prepare reports and meet invoice deadlines
• Communicate with customers and other departments, resolve issues, and provide clarifications

Customer Analysis, Pricing and Profitability

• Analyze customer pricing and product revenue and cost data
• Analyze and report on existing and new customer account profitability
• Assist in implementing improvements to customer and product profitability
• Assessing data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends
• Monitor customer engagements to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings
• Collaborate with Executives on developing and implementing pricing strategies
• Develop pricing tools to effectively respond to customer needs and market trends

Requirements

Education | Experience

• BA Required 
• Accounting experience in small business preferred
• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
• High level of ability to understand a data and business and accounting processes & systems
• Exceptional Broad based knowledge in accounting, invoicing, accounts receivable, customer sales and data analysis
• Mastery in Microsoft Office suite of products specifically Excel
• Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks
• Technologically savvy
