The Position
This position is responsible for managing the daily operational needs of the hub regarding materials management, fabrication and assembly operations.
The main responsibilities are:
- Manages and directs all operations to support sales demand
- Responsible for manufacturing policies/practices with regards to materials usage, shipping and receiving, capacity planning, production scheduling, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations and performance measures
- Establishes operational standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and on-time delivery
- Oversees expense budgets to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements
- Manages and ensures employee training, development, and succession planning
- Manages assets to ensure proper maintenance, replacement and upgrades are completed in a timely manner
- Develops and manages relevant KPIs in accordance for business needs
Education and Experience
- BS/BA in industrial related field (preferred)
- 3 to 5 years of leadership experience in a service oriented operation (preferred)
- Experience managing a warehouse and maintaining inventory accuracy (preferred)
- Experience in "customer facing" and customer satisfaction ownership (preferred)
