Habbas & Associates is a well established and reputable Personal Injury law firm based in the Bay Area, California. We are recruiting for a compassionate, quick thinking, and energetic Personal Injury Case Manager for our San Jose, California Office.
Job Responsibilities
- Interview prospective clients
- handle phone calls and routine administrative functions
- request and review medical records
- communicate with insurance companies regarding the client’s case
- provide updates on client cases to clients, insurance companies and medical providers
- Send out correspondence letters to clients, insurance companies and providers
- Work closely with attorney to discuss case status
- Assist staff with needed job task
- Traditional Administrative support: Faxing, filing, copying, sending out correspondence letters
Job Requirements
Candidate will handle client communications, investigation of claims, pre-litigation case work up, and managing/handling a substantial case load. Knowledge of basic personal injury law and insurance coverage in accident cases is necessary.
- All Applicants must have positive attitude
- Must have prior of 2 years experience in Personal Injury Law
- Must have strong organization and attention to details skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Must be able to work independently and have a desire to assume significant responsibility
- Must be able to strive and be flexible in a fast pace environment
- Possess proficient skills in software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and related programs.
