Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or related professional experience.
- Experience in supervising and leading employees and volunteers, directing successful teams and accountable for meeting objectives.
- Experience in construction management.
- Working knowledge of AIA documents.
- Background check required.
Functions and Duties:
- Understanding and adherence to HfHUK procurement policy & procedures.
- Monthly reimbursement invoicing to DEO for State Appropriation
- Develop contract proposals to support organizational goals
- Review contract estimates, including proposed materials, production costs, etc and determine whether they seem reasonable and accurate
- Ensure that all records are accurate and up to date
- Write contract letters and other communications and notices
- Negotiate and approve contract terms while ensuring that projects remain within the established budget
- Attend meetings to assess progress on projects which are in motion, and take detailed notes to share with stakeholders
- Analyze contracts to ensure they comply with state and federal laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Performance Indicators:
- Demonstrate initiative and independent action in handling assigned tasks.
- Demonstrated knowledge of procurement policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement appropriate systems.
Employment Status: Part Time hourly position at 20 hours per week.
