About the role:
The Business Systems Developer is responsible in directly supporting Oracle analysts with the creation and modification of PL/SQL code. The job involves developing enhancements, testing updates, and facilitating installations. Java is used to enhance Oracle Mobile Supply Chain applications. Other tasks include creation of Oracle reports and viewers based on requirements from analysts. This position is part of the global Hach IT department and is an onsite position located in Romeoville, Illinois.
What Will I Be Doing?
Create/modify Oracle PL/SQL packages
Trouble shoot and address production support issues in a timely fashion
Work closely with analysts to address issues
Follow established coding standards and standard operating procedures
Unit test systems and applications and conduct code walkthroughs
Work independently on assigned projects and tasks, effectively using other resources as needed
Adhere to IT policies and procedures
What Are The Qualifications?
Associate’s, Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field
3 years of technical experience with Oracle PL/SQL
Strong understanding of relational database and programming concepts
Experience working with Oracle EBusiness Suite is a plus
Experience with Oracle SR system is a plus
Java experience (to support Mobile Supply Chain aspects of the Oracle WMS) is a plus
Experience with MS Access is a plus
.Net Experience is a plus
