Purpose of Position:
Use a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, jigs, test equipment and work instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble and/or test instruments or subassemblies.
This position relies primarily on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the job functions.
Essential Functions (specific duties may vary by location):
- Perform pre-assembly quality check on all components
- Follow detailed assembly instructions in a variety of formats (i.e, drawings, schematics, bills of material, internal procedures or some combination thereof), and report work completed on a daily basis
- Perform quality checks on completed assemblies, as needed
- Understand and meet quality and delivery requirements
- Recognize and report problems with quality, processes, equipment or materials to Production Lead, Supervisor or Operations Manager
- Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing best practices
- Participate in Kaizen Events
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of related work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong electro-mechanical skills (soldering, proper wire stripping and crimping techniques)
- Basic knowledge of necessary instruments and tools
The hourly range for this role is $24.00- $26.00 per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Washington.
This range may be modified in the future.
