This Medical Physics Resident will be a full-time two-year program, tailored to clinical training for Radiation Oncology Physicists, based upon guidelines by the American Association of Physicists in
Medicine (AAPM), with accreditation provided by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP). This role will be overseen by highly skilled and experienced staff within the Department of Radiation Oncology, including six board-certified Physicists, four board-certified Radiation Oncologists and five-board certified Medical Dosimetrists.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Master's diploma/degree in physics/radiation physics field or other relevant area of study.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Working towards certification by the American Board of Radiology.
