Regional Customer Quality Liaison
Corvac Composites is a premium Tier 1 supplier and a leader in supplying plastic components to major automotive manufacturers. We are now hiring for a Regional Customer Quality Liaison.
The Opportunity:
We are searching for a talented Quality and Customer Service professional to be our customer(s) partner and point of contact in our customer’s manufacturing plants for our products. You will be the liaison between our Corvac manufacturing sites and our customer(s) ensuring that we are providing quality parts and excellent customer service.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible to provide updates and tracking of quality concerns raised by our customers by providing immediate on-site support and resolution
Complete all necessary tasks to completion with a sense of urgency
Developing and implementing quality control systems on our customer’s premises.
Inspecting and evaluating processes and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues. Provide regular analysis and reporting.
Developing an eye for root cause, corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
Monitor customer portals for activity.
Perform and supervise all sorting activities as required
Build and maintain the trust and respect of our customer(s) while safeguarding the best interests of Corvac
Regularly visit Corvac manufacturing sites to build & maintain relationships and to learn our processes
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
BACKGROUND REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Field or relevant experience
Automotive OEM experience, preferably with Toyota and Honda
Quality System and Auditing Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team building, Problem solving and Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5-why, Fishbone, etc.)
Excellent Customer Relations skills and reliability
Ability to effectively communicate both externally and internally
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work remotely with permanent residence in Kentucky, southern Ohio or Indiana
Ability to travel 50-75%, primarily in above locations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Able to lift, bend, stoop, reach and climb and able to lift 10 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds occasionally, unassisted while performing sorts.
Must be able to stand 8-10 hours per day as required.
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment including exposure to changing building temperatures.
