Job Summary: Provide overall strategic HR leadership to HAECO Americas (HAECO). Oversee the development and implementation of human resources policies, programs, processes, and services. Serve as internal consultant to company leadership team on all human capital matters. Select, develop, evaluate and lead a team of human resource professionals with a goal of earning a high level of credibility as an effective and responsive internal company resource. Foster a workplace environment consistent with the values and mission outlined by the leadership of company.

Essential Job Duties:
1. Plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs, and evaluates all aspects of Human Resources function across assigned areas of the business.

2. Oversees all processes including policy administration, recruitment, retention, succession planning/development, payroll, compensation, benefits, employee relations, compliance, recordkeeping/reporting

3. Participates and communicates organizational needs relative to the company’s strategic planning process

4. Provides direction to HR staff members, establishing team priorities in achieving business objectives

5. Streamlines business processes to maximize efficiency & effectiveness using Continuous Improvement within the HR function

6. Analyzes wages, salary, and benefit data to determine competitive benefit and compensation plans

7. Advises company leadership on all human capital matters affecting the business

8. Consults legal counsel to ensure that all policies comply with federal and state laws

9. Oversees the maintenance of a human resources information system, payroll system, and applicant tracking that meets company information needs

10. Oversees the analysis and reporting of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization

11. Maintain current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, best practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources

12. Prepares and delivers presentations to a variety of audiences, including the executive staff, government officials, the educational community, industry affiliates, as well as local agencies regarding human capital matters impacting the company’s business

13. Develops employee recognition programs that support corporate philosophy

14. Develops and monitors departmental budget to support company financial goals and to optimally utilize available resources

15. Serve as the chief corporate steward of Affirmative Action and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion programs

16. Assist company leadership in all mergers & acquisitions

17. Act as company liaison and representative to state and federal entities as appropriate

18. Represents the company within the business community to promote and strengthen HAECO’s brand

19. Develops human resources planning models to identify competency, knowledge, & talent gaps; develops specific programs for the filling of the gaps

20. Continually assesses the competitiveness of all programs and practices against relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets

Accountabilities:
Accountable to the President – Airframe Services

Secondary Accountability to the HAECO Group Director of Human Resources

Job Qualifications:
Minimum:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or comparable discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience

2. 10 years or more managing as a HR Generalist including interpreting and implementing employee relations, benefits, training and talent management initiatives in a multi-site organization

3. 10 years or more in a HR leadership capacity encompassing multiple locations/sites

4. Strong business acumen, ability to understand the HR needs for the business and implement solutions to achieve positive results for the business

5. Domestic and international travel required, involving driving and/or flying (up to 30%).

6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

7. Ability to perform under deadline pressure

Preferred:
1. SPHR, GPHR, or SHRM-SCP

2. Work experience with an organization covered by DOT drug and alcohol regulations

3. Familiarity with aviation environment

Salary : $92,000 - $116,000
