Summary:
Responsible for assisting in the support of launched/approved products and operations processes.
Primary responsibilities for role:
- Originates simple to moderate CCRs with little to no assistance.
- Initiates simple to moderate projects.
- Assists BSO and EH&S with laboratory duties as needed.
- Leads the qualification effort involved in a PSP and/or project
- Performs Design and/or Risk/Validation assessment as appropriate on CCRs
- Performs troubleshooting and experimentation for moderate non-conformance investigations.
- Performs experiments to support moderate to complex complaint investigations.
- Prepares technical investigation reports requiring little editing.
- Prepares product impact assessments with little to no editing.
- Presents data to generate discussions with other team members using presentation skills
- Establishes effective working relationship with other departments in Operations, QA, RA and Services.
- Trains other members of department on assays and test methods
- Assists senior staff in running a PSP project or other project. Leads a simple PSP project or other project.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of experimental design, Knowledge of current GMPs, Blood Borne Pathogen training, Applied knowledge of Technical writing, Experience with presentation skills, Radioisotope training as needed.
Education:
Typically requires BA or BS and 4-6 years related experience
Experience:
Communication Skills, Quality of Work, Teamwork, Detail Orientation, Time Management, Ability to learn new skills, Analytical Skills
Equivalency:
Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements.
Example: If a job level requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience, an equivalency could include 8 years of experience, an Associate’s degree with 6 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 2
years of experience.
