Hagerty Consulting is currently supporting a humanitarian mission in Southern California that provides emergency sheltering and mass care services. The operation also contains a significant public health and medical component focused on COVID-19 screening, testing, and vaccination.
As Hagerty grows, we continue to look for talented professionals from a variety of backgrounds to provide holistic solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking an Operational Analyst. This is a contract position that will require you to work onsite in the San Diego, California region (including San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial counties). Travel may be authorized for those not currently local to the region.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, organize and manage large data sets collected by field personnel.
- Analyze complex and/or large data sets using Microsoft Excel.
- Work with onsite stakeholders to troubleshoot data based on an established information collection process.
- Interface with technical and non-technical audiences to build consensus on data solutions and address project issues.
- Coordinate with a team of emergency managers and other stakeholders to address information/data shortfalls and develop solutions.
- Other activities as directed by the client.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Ability to support shift schedule.
- One or more years of professional experience.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced and proven skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., creating and utilizing pivot tables for data analysis)
- High attention to detail.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of PowerBI and/or Tableau.
- Background or interest in emergency management or management consulting.
Salary Range: $60,000-$85,000
Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and training, licensure and certifications, location, travel requirements, and other business and organizational needs.
