This role includes driver training, managing in-service records, and overseeing special safety projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure workplace conditions are safe
- Instill a safety-first mentality throughout the operation
- Develop and implement safety procedures and policies
- Maintain compliance with Local, State and Federal regulations
- Manage Safety Programming onboard vehicles, including DriveCam, Samsara, and SmartDrive
- Revise, implement, and train managers and supervisors on prevention plans
- Create trend analyses for accidents and safety incidents
- Develop and conduct driver testing and training programs
Qualifications & Experience
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with riders and clients with clarity, tact and courtesy
- Must be computer literate and have working experience Microsoft Office suite
- Must be able to work various days and hours with flexibility, as required
- Must be qualified to work in the United States
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ bus operations experience
- Must have 3 years’ experience in Transportation Safety Management or combination of driving and safety experience.
- Requires experience with FMCSA regulations as prescribed by the US Department of Transportation
- BTW trainer is preferred
