What are the responsibilities and job description for the METRC Analyst position at Halo Collective?
SUMMARY: Reporting to the facility manager, this position will have the overall responsibility for all farm and facility compliance operations with a strong focus on the farm over the next 8 weeks. This position will work with the CEO and Executive Team to achieve overall objectives of the company.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all Metrc compliance issues up to and including:
Create all Metrc categories/tags needed for farm and facility operations
Organizing all testing for farm operations
Responsible for accurate tracking of all Processing Logs
Reject/Return/Incoming Manifests
Track Trim logs daily
Oversee processing METRC to ensure accurate WIP Inventory
Digitize all manifest, invoice, PO, PR and contracts
Contacting Metric or OLCC with compliance issues to maintain transparency with government agencies
Accurate record keeping through regular inventory scans/reconciliation
Reporting of inventory numbers as requested by CEO / executive team
Manage Safety Committee and Safety Plans for Farm Operations
Government agency liaison in cooperation with Halo Safety Officer
- OSHA, any other applicable government agency, i.e.: fire Marshall
Lead Farm Safety Training sessions in cooperation with Halo Safety Officer
Manage Regulatory Compliance Issues and Required Trainings for Farm Operations
Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance issues
Coordinate with different department leads managers and CEO to review/ update compliance policies
Perform periodic audits on company farm procedures and processes
Other Duties as Assigned
Requirements:
- 2 years METRC experience required.
- Farm METRC, at least have one harvest experience
- Knowledgeable in OLCC Rules and Regulations
- Follow company rules and state guidelines
- Identify ways to improve the processes
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age
- OLCC Marijuana Handlers Card.
- HS Diploma or equivalent, Associates or College degree would be ideal.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Highly detailed and ability to multitask in a very busy environment.
- Familiarity with cannabis industry ideal.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to Detail
- Flexibility to work late nights and weekends when needed
