Machine operator

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Meat Slicing Machine and Cleaning Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for slicing dry-cured meat, packaging and labeling products, preparing and packing customer orders, and daily cleaning and sanitizing all all equipment, tools, and work areas after the processing shift.

You will also be required to adhere to the Quality and Food Safety parameters established by the company, ensuring the highest standards are met consistently.

The operator responsibilities are :

• Operate meat slicing machines to slice dry-cured meats according to specifications.
• Package and label products, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Prepare and pack customer orders efficiently and with attention to detail.
• Clean and sanitize all equipment, tools, and work areas daily to maintain a hygienic work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, or cross-contamination while handling meat and meat slicing machines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.

• Familiar with meat slicing machines and cleaning / sanitizing machines.
• Must be able to make adjustments to the slicing machine.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Availability to work scheduled hours.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of local food safety regulations.
• Previous experience in a food production environment is a plus, but not required.
