The Hamburg Area School District is currently seeking applicants to fill a stipend position for Color Guard Instructor. The Instructor will introduce and further develop musical knowledge to groups of students whose skills range from the intermediate to advanced level. Attendance at band camp, football season and various parades/events are required. We do not participate in competitions. The stipend amount for this position is $1500.

Essential Functions
- Attendance at August Band Camp, football season, and various parades/events
- Introduce and further develop the techniques of percussion ensemble playing/front ensemble performance and musical knowledge to groups of students whose skills range from intermediate to advanced.
- Instruct and provide feedback to students and staff during ensemble rehearsals, as well as in sectional rehearsals
- Interact with students, parents, and other staff in a professional manner
- Attend staff meetings and maintain open communication with staff members/director
- Convey a standard of excellence during rehearsals, football games, additional events
- Maintain equipment and make minor repairs, as needed.
- ** We do not participate in competitions.
