Tow Truck Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for providing prompt and efficient towing services to our customers. This position requires excellent customer service skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle various towing situations.

Duties:
- Respond to service calls and safely operate a tow truck to transport vehicles
- Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using proper techniques and equipment
- Perform basic automotive diagnostics and minor repairs as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their vehicle needs and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Maintain accurate records of all services provided, including mileage, time of arrival, and any additional charges
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating the tow truck
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members, and customers to ensure smooth operations
- Handle conflicts or difficult situations with professionalism and diplomacy

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred
- Previous experience as a tow truck driver or in a similar role is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive repair procedures
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to safely operate a forklift for loading/unloading purposes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict management skills

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.57 - $25.98 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
