What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Payroll Manager position at Hamlyn Williams?

This role runs on a Hybrid Schedule, in which you will be reporting to an on-site location 3 days a week in the Jersey City Area.

Responsibilities

  • Validates payroll processes, performs system modifications, tax updates and production results with HR and accounting.
  • Making sure all payroll related processes and procedures are documented.
  • Keeping up to date with regulatory developments.
  • Provides support to Senior Payroll Manager, while also serving as an advisor/mentor to junior payroll staff.
  • Handles HR practices, FLSA, wage and hour regulations.
  • Participates in testing and validation of system updates.

Skills

  • Experienced using Oracle HCM data system.
  • 5-7 years of experience in in-house payroll processing
  • Previous Experience working for a financial Services firm is preferred.
  • Experienced managing a global, multi-state payroll.
  • Must have APA CPP or FPC certification.

Pay Rate: 110-120K.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Payroll management: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Oracle HCM: 5 years (Required)
  • Banking: 5 years (Preferred)
