What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Payroll Manager position at Hamlyn Williams?
This role runs on a Hybrid Schedule, in which you will be reporting to an on-site location 3 days a week in the Jersey City Area.
Responsibilities
- Validates payroll processes, performs system modifications, tax updates and production results with HR and accounting.
- Making sure all payroll related processes and procedures are documented.
- Keeping up to date with regulatory developments.
- Provides support to Senior Payroll Manager, while also serving as an advisor/mentor to junior payroll staff.
- Handles HR practices, FLSA, wage and hour regulations.
- Participates in testing and validation of system updates.
Skills
- Experienced using Oracle HCM data system.
- 5-7 years of experience in in-house payroll processing
- Previous Experience working for a financial Services firm is preferred.
- Experienced managing a global, multi-state payroll.
- Must have APA CPP or FPC certification.
Pay Rate: 110-120K.
