Hamme Health Associates is seeking qualified Nurse Practitioners to join our provider network as an independent contractor to perform general medical disability examinations for Service Members & Veterans in Corpus Christi, TX.
*Applicants must currently reside within 50 miles of Corpus Christi, TX.

- Provider will complete the exam while interviewing the patient utilizing guided disability questionnaires (known as DBQs) for the claimed condition documenting the exam findings required by the VA through a web portal.
- You will be assigned a location to perform the exams and our team will coordinate scheduling patients based on your availability.
- In this role, you will NOT treat, and you will NOT prescribe medication in this position.
- The practitioner will NOT be determining disability. This is determined by the VA.
- There is no On-Call requirements. Hours are flexible with your availability.
Job Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner with an Independent License
- Must hold an active and unrestricted license.
- Interested in performing Independent Medical Assessments.
- Able to analyze data from the medical records and exam findings to complete the questionnaire and form medical opinions.
- Skilled at time management, able to stay on task and meet requirements.
- Proficiently use computer.
There is no chronic or acute disease management, treatment, medication plans, etc., it is just an objective evaluation of their claim for new and existing service-connected disability.

Job Opportunities Available:

Pay:
- $450/per day; $225 half day
- We pay you directly, so no insurance billing is necessary

Standard shift:
- Day shift: Mon-Fri; Weekend Availability

- Exam Request Received > Testing and Exam Schedule > Provider Reviews Records > Veteran Exam Completion > Report Reviewed and Submitted
