Order Puller/Packer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Puller/Packer to join our team. As an Order Puller/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares orders for shipment by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Efficiently pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions using a RF scanner
• Ensure accuracy in selecting the correct items and quantities for each order to meet customer expectations
• Distribute to appropriate associates for processing
• Inspect items for damages or defects and report any issues to supervisors
• Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock
• Maintain a clean, well-organized, safe working environment, ensuring that aisles are clear and items are properly labeled and stored
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols, organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns
• Determine sequence and release of back orders according to stock availability.
• Comply with Company Code of Conduct and job site policies
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to meet daily productivity and efficiency targets
• Be willing to perform other warehouse tasks as needed

Experience:

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous experience in order fulfillment or a similar role is preferred
• Must be able to speak, read, write in English
• Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
• Familiarity with using an RF scanner for order picking is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 45 lbs) and to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods as required
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order selection and packaging
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Excellent time management skills to meet productivity targets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.29 per hour
