What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician- 2nd Shift position at Hampel?
Position Summary
The Quality Tech is expected to provide quality assurance support on the production floor to increase internal and outgoing quality levels, supporting overall customer satisfaction of our products. They will visually and dimensionally check products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection of manufactured parts and assemblies to ensure compliance to product requirements and customer specifications.
- Assist with the preparation of inspection reports for all necessary stakeholders to provide recommendations and ensure team members are aware of any issues.
- Maintain quality control documentation as required and assigned.
- Assist with internal quality and process audits.
- Review non-conformances and determine / concur on disposition. Keep non-conforming area current and well organized and maintained.
- Other Duties as assigned
Required Experience:
Minimum Level of Education/Training Required
- 2 years of Quality experience working within a manufacturing setting.
Minimum Experience Required
- Basic Print Reading and basic hand metrology tools - i.e. tape measure, caliper, go/no go
License or Certificate Required
