We are looking for Guest Room Attendants to join our team and help provide exceptional service to our guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the hotel rooms, ensuring that all areas are kept clean and tidy. This position requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Schedule requires rotating weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned rooms and common areas in accordance with company standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Empty trash containers and replace liners
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time
