Overview
We are offering a total of $1500.00 Hiring Incentive as follows: $750 after 6 months of employment; $750 after 12 months of employment (subject to your current tax rates).
Hampton will match up to 4 weeks per year of paid time off for relevant industry experience.
This person will supervise and coordinate day-to-day tasks for the clean-up crew to ensure the facility meets cleanliness standards. They will train and provide feedback through one-on-one evaluations to ensure employees are meeting overall facility expectations. This person will be responsible for the safety of our newest team members and ensure we provide the appropriate training for their success. This person will report to the Plant Superintendent but will also work in conjunction with the leadership team.
This position has an hourly rate of $30.00 ($62,400 annually) plus the $1.75 shift differential. The work schedule is 36-40 hours, Friday-Sunday, 12pm-12:30am.

Responsibilities
- Training new team members in all aspects of safety as it relates to the plantsite
- Perform 90-day evaluations on a weekly/bi-weekly basis to measure performance to determine overall fit for the team
- Instill pride in the crew by establishing high standards for our facility and adjust schedule as needed to meet said standards
- Work in conjunction with the maintenance team to ensure proper preventative/predictive maintenance can be completed timely
- Communicate openly and effectively with the team, sending a consistent message.
- Support and encourage HCI initiatives to enhance facility performance
- Partner with the Sawmill Supervisor and Human Resource/Safety Manager with personnel concerns
- Manage PTO, absentee records and timesheets for current team members
- Establish standards for productivity at all stages of the clean-up process throughout the facility.
- Foster an environment that promotes trust, respect, engagement, and inclusion
- Promote and have an open-mind to change to take the clean-up process to world class standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year lead responsibilities or demonstrated professional and technical expertise preferred but not required
- Have strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to details, good organizational skills, be a self-starter, ability to prioritize tasks and self-motivated.
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Hampton’s safety policies is preferred but no required
- Must have or obtain PIT certification to run skid steer and forklift is required
