Night Shift - Caregiver and/or Med Tech

Hampton Manor of Bedford is an Independent Living, Assisted Living, & Memory Care Community located in Lambertville, MI.

• Pay: $14 - $16 hourly
• Third Shift: 10pm - 6:30am
• Schedule: Full and Part time available

Every other Saturday & Sunday off!

The Caregiver / Resident Aid can be trained (in-house) as a Med Passer ($1 pay increase).

*Bi-Weekly Attendance Bonus after 90 days*

The Caregiver / Med Tech is responsible for all duties in relation to safely providing for the resident’s care and well-being. It requires a responsible demeanor in order for the resident population to have confidence in your ability to provide for their care needs. CNA / STNA not required.

*We prefer our candidates to have at least 1 year experience caring for the elderly. *

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains the community's philosophy.
• Is knowledgeable of policies and procedures.
• Has good communication skills
• Assist with all of the care needs of residents, including but not limited to, toileting, ambulation ,bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, escorting, and transferring from place to place.
• Assist with activities when required, be responsible for getting the residents to scheduled activities.
• Capable of washing, drying, folding, and returning laundry to the correct residents.
• Capable of taking accurate vital signs and weight.
• Answer call lights in a timely manner.
• Maintain current CPR.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to easily lift and carry 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop and/or bend for a period of up to eight hours with breaks as provided for in employee handbook.

Other Requirements:

• Has familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population. Previous Assisted Living, Long-term care, Nursing Home, or caregiver experience preferred, but not necessary.
