Education Supervisor Qualifications: 1. College degree from an accredited college or university.2. Graduate or professional degree in educational administration and supervision from an accredited college or university3. Appropriate State of Ohio supervisor's license4.
Minimum of five years of teaching experience5. Administrative experience is preferred6. Experience planning and providing professional development in areas of curriculum alignment, assessment analysis, and OIP is preferred7. OTES credentialed8.
Alternative to the above qualifications as superintendent and/or Governing Boardmay find appropriate General Description: Provide leadership and vision in on-going planning, implementation, development, direction, review and evaluation of district curriculum and instructional services, federal programs, career and technology, assessment, research and evaluation services. Ensure the member district/schools education objectives are aligned to state frameworks and to instructional practices that yield the highest standards of student achievement and instructional excellence. Essential Functions: 1.Cooperates with the philosophy and operational procedures of the local, city, or career center school; nonpublic school; or other contracted agency. 2.
Maintains a positive working relationship with personnel from the county and all contracted schools or agencies.3. Represents the HCESC and its service schools with professionalism at all times. 4. Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior at all times.5.
Maintains confidentiality in all job-related discussions and communications.6. Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.7. Dresses professionally and appropriately for the position. Exhibits personal habits and behavior that are professional and appropriate for the position.8.
