Home Health Aide

$13.00-$14.00  Hourly Pay, Dependent on Experience

A leading provider of home health care services is looking for Home Health Aide’s to join their growing team! The Home Health Aide will play a vital role in allowing our aging population to stay comfortably in their home.  The ideal candidate for this opportunity will be kind and compassionate with a desire to help people.

We offer flexible scheduling. Day and Night shifts available!

The Home Health Aide will be responsible for:

·         Serving as a companion to clients

·         Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.

·         Managing medication and assessing effectiveness of current medication regimen           

·         Preparing meals

·         Assisting in daily household tasks as needed

·         Tending to personal hygiene needs

·         Providing bathing and dressing assistance

·         Assisting with patient transfer

·         Shopping and running errands as needed

·         Communicating with the clients family/friends regarding care needs

·         Following patient care plan

The Home Health Aide will excel with:

·         Caregiving experience preferred

·         Experience with Alzheimer’s or dementia care preferred

·         Valid drivers’s license and reliable transportation required

·         Proven reliability with an excellent work ethic

·         Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time

·         Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance

·         Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills

·         The ability to provide care across a variety of settings

·         Empathy and the ability to care for the client’s social, emotional, physical, and mental needs

·         Ability to stay calm and diffuse stressful or uncomfortable situations

·         An understanding of what to do in an emergency

·         Training in any special areas of care you provide

The Home Health Aide will be rewarded with:

·         $13.00 Hourly Pay, Dependent on Experience
