Well, Handex is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Manager for our Contamination Assessment and Remediation Services team due to our increased business needs. As a Project Manager, you will plan, direct and coordinate engagements, activities and prepare reports and other deliverables to meet timely deliverables. Position is located in Windsor, NJ and will have a hybrid work schedule.

What will be my responsibilities?
· Position will involve extensive work on projects that include current active remediation systems, including permit compliance for both water discharge and air emissions.
· Sites may include, but are not limited to, oil refineries, active gas stations, abandoned warehouses, roadways, bridges, etc. The noise level in the environment is moderate but may be high when at job sites. Safety equipment will be provided as needed for each site, including respirators.
· Schedule, assign duties, and coordinate activities of the technical staff based on evaluation of their knowledge of specific disciplines and work to be completed.
· Maintain understanding of Owner and NJDEP regulations, SOP’s, and guidelines; ensure all Handex activities are in compliance.
· Provide management and oversight during project execution.
· Create and communicate Emergency Response procedure; ensure team is available as needed.
· Track project financial status and coordinate monthly client invoicing.
· Compose and review technical reports to ensure accuracy, clarity, and timely submittal.
Skills needed for success:
· College degree in geology, hydrogeology or environmental sciences.
· 3 years of experience in project management in overall Contamination Assessment and Remediation services including drilling, field assessment, remedial design, emergency response, systems operations and maintenance.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must.
· Highly proficient technical writing and research skills a must
· Thorough knowledge of NJDEP Site Remediation Program regulations and technical guidance documents a must.
· Take charge professional with a can-do attitude to meet deadlines.
· Highly organized, detail oriented and a team player who is collaborative and cooperative with internal and external customers.
· Willingness and ability to perform field work (indoor /outdoor) and travel as needed.
· Valid driver’s license in good standing.
