Oversee strategic initiatives embedded in large-scale transformation efforts that require altering aspects of the organization. The change projects may involve organizational structure, use of technology, job roles, or business productivity cycles. The change management lead sets direction in alignment with the scope of programs and determine what areas of the business should be adjusted. The role leads and monitors each phase of the change strategies, often across multi-program workstreams, ensuring business continuity and user readiness in enabled on time for launch deadlines.
Accountable for the strategic direction and execution of change management methodologies related to critical global processes and system change initiatives. The function focuses on improving employee readiness through communication and education associated with acquisition integrations, system implementations and business transformation objectives. The change management lead partners with the business by creating and delivering change interventions, including communications and user training needs. Change management partners with key internal and external stakeholders to build organizational awareness and support to achieve targeted change benefits.
The Lead Change Management Analyst is responsible for strategizing an applying a structured methodology and change management activities to drive adoption of the changes required by a program or initiative. These will include identifying business process change impacts associated with acquisition integrations, system integrations and organization transformation activities globally. The change management lead also defines and measures success metrics and monitor change progress.
- Leads business in identifying and documenting business process change impacts and creating actionable deliverables for change management strategies: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.
- Owns and manages the change portfolio of projects
- Tracks and Reports organization preparedness status updates/presentations for business transformations and integrations for use in executive level updates
- Partners with and coaches senior leaders, managers and supervisors and guides respective manager(s) in people development needs
- Acts as a change agent both in the lead role as well as through stakeholders management efforts
- Develops organization readiness plan, scoping, as well as individual work plans; acting as liaison with the business product owners and agile teams for troubleshooting education and communication needs
- Analyzes business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary training and communication strategies to satisfy business process owners’ needs
- Demonstrates a versatile approach to change management in both Agile and Waterfall environments
- Contributes strategic direction to organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities in a coordinated efforts with other specialists
Required: BS/BA or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.- Required Experience: 7-10 years of progressive experience in Change Management, Business, HR or IT role
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management.
