Job Duties/Scope Of Work
Essential job duties of this position include:
- Review purchase requisitions to ensure they are allowable, allocable and reasonable per procedure.
- Process a wide variety of orders for commercial off the shelf material utilizing an HMIS purchasing card (P-Card).
- Ensure the P-Card record is complete with proper documentation in accordance with procedures.
- Use of P-Card systems which include: HMIS – Supply Ordering System and P-Card Web Solution.
- Complete bi-monthly reconciliation of P-Card transactions.
- Maintain a strict compliance to HMIS ethics requirements and expectations and HMIS Procurement procedures and policies.
- As required, locate supplier sources and obtain quotations and lead times for material.
- Follow up to ensure timely delivery and when necessary, problem resolutions.
- Interface with HMIS Warehouse receiving and transportation as needed for customer support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all P-card transactions.
- Must have the ability to organize, communicate, prioritize, monitor work and perform concurrent assignments to completion in a timely manner. At times, these will be done without supervision.
- Requires daily to frequent cross-department, multi-disciplinary interaction in addition to communications with management, exempt, non-exempt and other HMIS organizations.
Basic Qualifications
- AA Degree - OR - an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the Microsoft Office software suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience performing price comparisons, shipping evaluations and negotiations to support customer needs.
- Experience placing credit card transactions.
Compensation & Benefits
Grade 6: $52,150 - $65,750
Grade 7: $57,450 - $72,450
Grade 8: $63,213 - $79,738
