Could This Be For You?We are seeking a Regional Communications Specialist for Southwest Michigan. This position will help to share the stories of the incredible patients we have the honor of serving as they pursue their passions.
In this purpose-driven role, you will report into Hanger's national PR and Communications Team and partner with regional-based leadership to develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies specific to region and market-based plans, including but not limited to : the creation and management of region-specific social media channels, the management of proactive and reactive media opportunities, maintaining region and market-specific webpages, and collaborating on community events.
The Great Lake Region covers Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky, and the ideal candidate will be located in southwest Michigan.
Your ImpactWork with the External Communications Manager to plan and implement external communications activities to advance the region's communication goals and meet strategic objectives.
Develop, track, and report on KPIs associated with strategic plans.Manage local media relations, including both proactive and reactive opportunities.
Manage the region's social media accounts, including drafting engaging content and connecting with audiences.Manage and update region and market-specific webpages.
Develop and maintain a communications schedule for continuous community engagement and media / editorial content.Manage and keep up-to-date the region's digital media archive and press clips.
