Assistant Branch Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

As the Assistant Manager of Midway, you will be responsible in all aspects of driving and running your rental branch.  Daily customer service responsibilities and training and developing your employees is a must.  Assistant Managers are typically in charge of the front end of the business while assisting the Branch Manager in all aspects of the business.  You will create the “fun” and the positive culture and environment.  Requires good time management and effective delegation skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, mentor, train and develop a strong team.
• Maintain relationships with current accounts and business while marketing and obtaining new business in your territory.
• Consistently monitor and manage the upkeep of your fleet by utilizing all available reporting.
• Manage accounts receivables.
• Manage all maintenance, service, and repair of vehicles.

Qualifications:

• 2 years prior rental car experience.
• Title of Assistant Manager or above a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
• Previous sales to dealers and body shops a bonus.
• Ability to market and sell to earn business.
• Ability to work with other departments.
• Clean driving record with no drug or alcohol related driving incidents in the last 3 years; No more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years; No driving related suspensions or revocation of Driver License within a 3-5 year period. Will be subject to continuous Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring
• Minimum 3 years of licensed driving history

Compensation:

• $70,000 to $75, 000 salary plus bonus
• The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, and education when applicable.
