Position Overview:
As a Service Coordinator at our Tigard location, you will be the heartbeat of our hospital. Your role is crucial in ensuring a seamless flow of Members and pets through our facility. You will maximize the productivity of our veterinary team while fostering strong communication with Members and Team Members. Your friendly demeanor and commitment to excellence will leave a lasting impression, encouraging Members to return and refer their friends and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member Experience: Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service to all Members and their pets. Welcome them warmly, ensure their comfort, and educate them about their pet's health and our services.
- Care Coordination: Manage the documentation process for incoming Members, accurately enter pet information into our system, and ensure proper identification with collars and tags.
- Follow-Up Support: Assist outgoing Members by providing clear instructions, dispensing prescriptions per veterinarian guidelines, selling retail products, and scheduling future appointments.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the veterinary medical team to ensure a productive and pleasant environment, demonstrating a positive outlook even in challenging situations.
- Operational Excellence: Complete opening and closing procedures, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience with increasing responsibility.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Essential Physical Abilities:
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours) and walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
- Capability to lift and position a 40 lb dog onto an exam table.
- Proficiency in using hands and fingers for various tasks and communicating effectively in a moderately high noise environment.
- Visual acuity to assess and inspect pet health and hospital conditions.
Additional Requirements:
- Reliable transportation is a must.
- Flexibility to work at different Hannah locations
