The Underwriter is responsible for providing good sound underwriting judgement in evaluating risks from our new
distribution offering(s).

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or related experience
• Minimum three (3) years experience in underwriting with particular emphasis on underwriting impaired medical risk
  evaluation.

• Basic computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
• Industry coursework/designations (FALU, FLMI, CLU, etc.)
• Involvement with local, regional and/or national underwriting organizations

• Overnight travel required up to 5% of the time throughout the continental USA

Compensation:

• Minimum of $60,000 (Base Bonus per year).

Colorado Salary Statement: The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
