Job Description: Market Manager - West Michigan (Hybrid) 7 locations Role Summary The Market Manager is responsible for the operation and results of multiple locations within a designated area. Market Managers are responsible for meeting their location's annual business plan objectives including but not limited to operations, internal and external development, business relationships, wowing every internal and external customer, and profitability. The Market Manager is expected to provide leadership and mentoring to all his direct reports and lead their team effectively and efficiently. Market Managers are committed to being a dedicated Brand Ambassador of Gerber, leading by example at all times. Reporting Relationships Reports to Regional Director General Managers report to the Market Manager Accountabilities Staff 1. Manage the activities of all locations within the designated market through active coordination with the individual location's General Managers. 2. Manage and hold all staff accountable for shop performance by: Clearly communicate and ensure all reporting employees understand the company mission to WOW every customer and be the best. Insure staff is following company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Recognize and document exceptional and substandard performance Work to develop a team that is focused on our mission and that enthusiastically strives to deliver consistent repair service experiences that exceeds customers' expectations 3. Insure customer satisfaction by coaching staff and resolve customer concerns as required 4. Recruit, interview and hire new staff as required Train new hires in regards to company policy and procedure Seek out opportunities for continuous education and development for all employees 5. Promote safe, clean working conditions, review ERS audits and safety records of their locations. Ensure that all personal protective equipment is being used properly and document managers that do not enforce Gerber's safety policies External Development 1. Work with corporate staff to achieve the external growth of the assigned market Internal Reporting and Communications 1. Review all performance reports for all locations in their assigned market 2. Review location performance against goals with location managers and provide coaching to ensure all locations are performing to potential 3. Conduct operations reviews with location managers on a monthly basis 4. Ensure that all locations in the assigned market are adhering to the WOW operating model 5. Participate in company operational meetings as requested External Communications 1. Promote, develop and act as a liaison with area insurance contacts and other referral points 2. Contact all claims managers and dealer accounts on a monthly basis (minimum) 3. Solicit, develop and report on vendor relationships 4.
