MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary duties of a maintenance technician will be to maintain all equipment in the plant to insure that it is meeting company and industry standards. Technicians will be responsible for Repairs and maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment, and rolling stock. As well as working safely and complying with Food Safety, GMP and Sanitation guidelines.

- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
- Developing preventive maintenance programs
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
- Maintains heavy equipment including pay loaders, skid steers, forklifts, and railcar movers
- Lubricates and cleans parts
- Starts devices to test their performance
- May initiate requests for parts and machines
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and successful pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience
