Hours : This is a full-time opportunity. Weekends will be required.
Qualifications/Skills:
- 1-2 years' experience working in a grocery department is preferred
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred
- Proven attendance record/job longevity
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds regularly, 50 pounds occasionally
- Honest, team-oriented person who has a good work ethic
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, courteous, positive and enthusiastic interactions with customers
- Order merchandise for the following departments, including but limited to: grocery, general merchandise, and health and beauty aids
- Set merchandise displays
- Deal with vendors and salespersons regarding department products
- Checks-in merchandise to make sure the store receives what the invoice indicates
- Knows all product and location of all product in the store
- Follow store sign program as directed by the corporate office
- Face and rotate existing product if needed
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked
- May perform duties as cashier, stocking or bagging when needed
- Stays productive while punched in
- Other duties as they are assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
