**Job Overview:**
Oversees paint line production including execution, maintenance, material procurement, continuous improvement, safe work environment, quality, efficiency, and deadlines. Provides leadership, directs production, and builds and leads a successful team. To ensure efficient operations the Paintline Manager will implement proper training, development of initiatives, and achievement of goals. Works as part of the Hanson Silo Company team to fulfill the objectives of our strategic plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manages production, schedules, staffing, equipment needs, and sales, including developing new business, of Paintline departments.
2. Review production costs and product quality and modify production and inventory control to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division.
3. Maintain budget, pricing, prepare quotes, and make recommendations to management.
4. Establish, communicate, and monitor environmental and safety compliance.
5. Actively participate on leadership team to assist with long term growth and success.
6. Engage in continuous learning through paint industry education and keep up-to-date on products, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends.
7. Provide leadership in processes, productivity, quality, and customer service.
8. Administer vendor management, raw material, and supply purchasing.
9. Follow and model Hanson Silo Company’s workplace handbook and safety policies.
10. Other duties as assigned.We are seeking a skilled manager to oversee the development and production of our paint line. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting, power tools, mechanical knowledge, and lean manufacturing.
