We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic team. Duties:
- Assist the dentist during all dental procedures, including exams, fillings, extractions, and surgeries.
- Prepare the dental operatory for each patient, including sterilizing instruments and setting up equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment, adhering to aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide support during procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist with patient communication, including providing oral health education and answering questions.
- Perform radiographic procedures, including taking X-rays, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with medical imaging and medical coding as necessary.
- Participate in patient registration, billing, and insurance verification processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, contributing to a supportive and respectful team environment.
Skills:
- Strong background in dental assisting
