Veterinary Assistant

Hi! Our holistic/ integrative practice is located in Roswell, Georgia! We are searching for an experienced part-time Veterinary Assistant to join our growing practice. Our team consists of two part-time veterinarians.

This candidate will be required to complete appointments with a veterinarian by comfortably restraining canines and felines, as well as by offering treatments like laser therapy. Proficiency or some experience in blood draws as well as assistance with surgical procedures (ex: dentals) would be a plus. Training in laser therapy, for example, will be offered to you.

Requirements are as follows:
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from about 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., one-two Saturdays monthly from about 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Minimum weekly hours: 16
Pay: $12-$14 based on experience. Benefits are negotiable.

This position requires someone who is reliable, personable, communicative, and has a passion for working with animals. We need a dependable, responsible team player who communicates well with both co-workers and clients. The candidate must be able to follow directions, pay attention to details, prioritize the tasks at hand, and organize their time efficiently. He/she must possess a positive attitude and have lots of patience for pets and their owners.

• Assist the veterinarian with holding patients
• Give injections (ex: vaccines)
