Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Knowledge Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects related to knowledge acquisition, organization, and utilization across various departments. This role will also involve conducting data analysis to derive actionable insights and improve decision-making processes within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge Management:
- Develop strategies for acquiring, organizing, and maintaining knowledge resources.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to capture and document critical knowledge.
- Design and implement knowledge management systems or databases.
Project Management:
- Lead knowledge management projects from initiation through to completion.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor and report on project progress.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making.
- Develop reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to optimize data collection and analysis processes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for enhancing knowledge management processes and systems.
- Implement best practices and standards to ensure efficient knowledge sharing.
- Conduct training sessions or workshops to promote effective knowledge management practices across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in knowledge management, project management, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
