Job Posting for Social Media & Marketing Assistant - Part Time at Harbor Brand
Harbor is looking for a Social Media & Marketing Assistant who will be responsible for the daily management of editorial content on social media platforms and remaining current with local and national news relating to our field. They will also research current behavioral healthcare topics and work with Harbor professionals to obtain content, expert opinions and data to keep Harbor’s website and social media communication relevant and timely.
Position is part time, 20 hours per week.
Education/Experience/Other Requirements:
Experience in business marketing with at least one year of social media specific experience.
Must be able to demonstrate experience and a proven successful track record in Marketing.
Must have outstanding writing and communication abilities and demonstrate organizational and motivational skills.
Must have a working knowledge of social media platforms that include design and implementation.
Must present an image that is consistent with Harbor’s brand.
Must have a driver’s license and be willing to use personal car to perform duties.
Must be proficient and accurate in computer use, including Adobe Creative Suite for video and graphic designs.
Essential Job Competencies/Primary Duties:
Provides management of editorial content on social media platforms which includes video and static posts.
Uses social media monitoring tools to monitor and report on metrics.
Serves as a communication point between consumer and the company.
Maintains a Harbor account on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Assists with updates on Harbor’s external website, www.harbor.org.
Manages databases for events, projects, mailings and e-mail lists.
Creates videos for use in social media/website content.
Assists with fundraisers and special events.
Researches current behavioral healthcare topics and works with Harbor professionals to obtain content, expert opinions and data to keep Harbor’s website and social media communication relevant.
Keeps informed on Harbor products and services, new products, and general industry information of interest to constituents and promotes internal marketing of these services.
