It’s important that you reside in the Chicagoland area so you can work in our centrally located downtown office 10% of the time and work from home the other 90%. About The Role Being a Shareholder Services Representative means you will be providing support to internal and external clients, which include shareholders, brokers, and other Harbor employees. Our ideal candidate would provide accurate and timely transaction processing, quality assurance, written and verbal shareholder communication, and project support on behalf of shareholders and associates of Harbor Funds. We will give you all the tools and training to be a successful Shareholder Services Representative. What You’ll do Provide timely and accurate information to support daily communication with Harbor Fund’s shareholder base to meet, or exceed, internal quality standards Accurate and timely review of daily department reports to successfully support daily operations Active participation in departmental project support work Assist in the documentation of departmental workflows and procedures Maintain updated knowledge of company products, and industry trends Perform additional activities as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related major 0-2 years of financial services industry or college internship experience preferred Experience in business writing and customer service preferred FINRA Series 6 or Series 7 within six (6) months and Series 63 within ten (10) months of hire You’ll Benefit from Our Culture  Launch your financial services career as a Shareholder Services Representative Get trained, learn new skills, and become eligible for promotion in 18 – 24 months Receive ongoing and quarterly performance feedback to fuel your growth Confirm your industry knowledge by passing the Series 7 exam.
