Cabinet Builder

HarborFront Interiors is a local family-owned manufacturer of millwork and casework products for the restaurant, medical, and other commercial construction industries. We have been in business since 1986 and since then have stood by our commitment to superior customer service as well as quality people and products.

We are currently seeking a skilled Cabinet Builder to join our team. You will collaborate with team members as well as work independently to construct cabinets and other casework goods using a variety of materials. You must know how to read and interpret blueprints, work with raw and finished materials, and have a good working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment. This position will be located at our facility in Muskegon Michigan for an 7:30AM - 4PM shift, Monday through Friday.

Daily responsibilities

• Read and Interpret blueprints, drawings and job traveler to understand the project specifications

• Take measurements and calculate the size and amounts of material needed for the project

• Use necessary tools to assemble and fasten cabinets, doors, walls and other millwork/casework products

• Laminate finished assemblies with specified material

• Keep work area clean and organized

Job requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Working knowledge of carpentry techniques and laminating

• Proficient using electrical and hand tools as well and measurement tools

• Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity

• Experience in solid surface fabrication or edge banding is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
