Under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing and Player Development, the incumbent oversees and directs all entertainment operational functions to include Management of entertainment day to day functions including show operations, show production, contract fulfillment, guest experience, staffing, equipment procurement, maintenance, safety and security in all entertainment facilities including arena, theater, special events and lounges. This Individual is additionally responsible for overseeing contract compliance and financial settlements, while at the same time building and maintaining relationships with people in the entertainment industry.

Experience with PCMusic platform, knowledge in providing technical support for audiovisual production and setup.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Bristol their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Regulations and Hard Rock departmental policies and procedures.
- Determine and approve the issuance of appropriate player reinvestment such as complimentary and gifts. Attend functions hosted by property to serve and assist invited guests.
- Maintain the highest standards of ethical business conduct.
- Book talent into all property venues including the ballroom and Hard Rock Café.
- Book, organize and manage local events to showcase the property and brand while demonstrating music industry connection.
- Initiate agreements with entertainment artists for local support and performances.
- Establish and nurture relationships with celebrities and talents (bands, DJ’s, etc.). Translate strategy into specific business actions and individual accountabilities that achieve results.
- Develop department members’ knowledge and skills through education, training, coaching, corrective counseling, etc.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
- Conduct personal behavior and select, train, coach, counsel, appraise and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
- Ensure prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels to best manage labor costs while maintaining outstanding guest service.
- Stays abreast of the current trends and practices within area of responsibility and communicates pertinent information to management, peers, direct reports, and team members as appropriate.
- Performs all other duties as assigned and adheres to all Virginia Lottery Regulations and departmental standard operating procedures.
- Promote the organization in and out of industry and at relevant trade associations.
- Ensures the adequacy and accuracy of all Entertainment advertising in all forms of media (internet, publications, billboards, radio, and TV) by working with the Marketing and Advertising departments.
- Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned. Works closely with catering/special events to support all cash/comp bookings. Provides consistent and thorough communications to all areas.
- Attend seminars when needed.

- Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Virginia Lottery.
- Must successfully pass background check.
- Must successfully pass drug screening.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.

- Ability to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneously should pose a challenge without being overwhelming.

- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers and staff, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
- Fluency in English: additional languages preferred.
- Deep understanding of lifestyle hotels and premium dining products and services.
- Possess solid music background with knowledge of national and local music acts, talent, and DJ’s.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong organizational skills.
- Experience with Infinium, ACSC and MMS.
- Proven financial management/budget experience required.
- Gaming Industry, including the role as it related to various principles and practices of a capital and operational budget.
- Office procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as word processing, email, spreadsheets, and databases to include excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Principles of supervision, training, and performance evaluation.
- Knowledge of Market trends.
- Ability to move throughout the business (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time.
- Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
