Job Description:

The Granite Fabricator/Polisher Apprentice at Hard Rock Stone Works will learn to craft and finish high-quality stone products under the guidance of experienced professionals. This hands-on role is designed to develop the apprentice's skills in all aspects of stone fabrication and polishing, preparing them for a full-time role in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the fabrication and polishing of granite and other stone materials.
• Learn to operate machinery and tools used in stone fabrication.
• Always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Help maintain equipment and a clean work environment.
• Assist in measuring and preparing materials according to specifications.
• Participate in all training sessions and actively seek knowledge about the trade.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interest in learning a skilled trade.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to apply them in measuring and sizing.
• Physical ability to handle heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Eagerness to work in a team environment and learn from others.
• No prior experience in stone fabrication required.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
