What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician position at Hardhat Workforce Solutions?
JOB R ESPONSIBILITIES :
- Maintain, repair, assembly dismantle and maintain work on industrial machinery
- Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and overhaul equipment
- Work with a high degree of self-direction, referencing work instructions, guidelines, trainings, and schedules.
- Proficient in multiple crafts such as electrical and mechanical, or electrical and welding, or electrical and machining, etc
- Analyze process data and make decisions on equipment maintenance and improvement activities
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3 year industrial mechanical experience or two-year technical degree preferred
- Proven knowledge of safety policies/training and a strong safety mentality required (e.g. lock out / tag out, confined space entry)
- Work safely and comply with OHSA standards, must own tools, PPE
- Able to work in varying temperatures and climates.
- Must be able to continuously stand, bend, and twist and lift items up to 50 pounds.
