Job Description:

Full time or Part time

Hours of Operation, open to the public:

• September through May: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, overtime available
• June-August: Closed Mondays

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Handle high grade lumber, plywood, hardware, power tools with care and efficiency:
• Unloading and loading trucks, vans, trailers with a forklift.
• Organizing and restocking lumber, plywood, hardware, tools in the warehouse for to maximize speed and accuracy for distribution
• Pulling orders alone and with co-workers for shipping or customer pickup.
• Loading customer vehicles with plywood, lumber, hardware, power tools.
• Receiving stock shipments from vendors, verifying items received vs. shipping documents
• Counting inventory
• Tallying lumber by the board foot, lineal foot, bunk.
• Assisting customers in product knowledge of stocked plywood, lumber, hardware, tools available in stock, and eventually those that can be special ordered.
• Able to lift 80lbs repeatedly
• Forklift certified (will be re-certified for our site)

All of the above with Customer Service as the foundation.

Further qualifications:

- Materials handling experience

- Forklift certification

- Mechanical knowledge

- Construction background

- Experience in shipping & receiving

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems

- Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers through, phone, email, text
