Project Title: RWI Pump Station Modifications
Location: Lafayette, Alabama
Project Timeframe: Fall 2023
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with weekends off
Pay Range: $25/hr based on experience

Haren Construction Company, Inc. specializes in water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and commercial and industrial types of construction.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Applicants will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and repairs of piping systems such as flanged pipes, PVC pipes, ductile pipes, and underground pipes in accordance with the provided blueprints or verbal instructions.
- Work with and around heavy equipment to safely excavate and trench for underground pipe.
- Basic knowledge and ability to use basic power tools to secure piping and supports with clamps, brackets, and hangers.
- Ensure the proper safety measures and incident reporting procedures are followed, bringing any problems to the attention of the supervisor.
- Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs a strenuous physical activity, for long periods, under varying and adverse field conditions. This position must be able to lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs., stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out and above the shoulder, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least six months of commercial construction experience.
